This would be the second shipment found in less than eight days, directly damaging the finances of the residual Organized Armed Groups, GAO-r, in the department.
This significant result is given in an operation of the National Army, coordinated with the Police, in which it was possible to find more than 3,600 kilos of top quality marijuana, valued at approximately 6,500 million pesos.
The narcotic was seized thanks to checkpoints conducted by soldiers of the Sixth Division and the Traffic and Transport Police, who are responsible for security on the access and exit roads of the department of Caquet谩.
This second blow, in less than eight days, occurred in the sector known as El Veinte, on the kilometer 65, on the road Florencia-Suaza (Huila), where two individuals transported the cargo in a truck, along the strategic mobility route that connects the departments of Caquet谩 and Huila with the center of the country.
At the scene, the vehicle drivers were arrested and put into the custody of the authorities, in order to advance the prosecution process.
Thanks to the military operation carried out by the National Army, the finances of these residual GAO continue to be weakened, neutralizing their criminal operations and preventing these psychoactive substances from being commercialized.
