This operations result, which occurred in the vicinity of the Ocoa Toll, on the road that connects the municipality of Acacías with Villavicencio, is in compliance with the line of operation: Interception, stipulated within the framework of the four strategic objectives of the Ayacucho Plan.

Within the framework of the military operations carried out to safeguard mobility on the roads of the department of Meta, troops of the Seventh Brigade of the National Army reported the interception of an individual who was transporting in the cargo of a vehicle, elements that would be allegedly used for the production of narcotics in the plains territory, directly damaging illicit activities in this region of the country.

Once the material was recognized, joint operations were conducted with the Meta Police Department to arrest the man who was transporting these items in flagrante delicto, leaving him into custody of the authorities so that his judicial process could begin.

Elements worth more than 80 million pesos were found by troops in the truck-type vehicle, including 550 gallons of solvent, 565 gallons of thinner, 100 gallons of sulfuric acid, 45 gallons of acetone, 50 gallons of ammonia, 500 kilograms of caustic soda and 960 kilograms of sodium metabisulfite.
