The emergency caused by the overflow of the G眉ejar River caused losses and the closure of some roads.
Soldiers of the Omega Task Force of Colombian National Army complemented the humanitarian aid efforts in the village of Puerto Lucas, municipality of Vista Hermosa, Meta, to help in the removal of debris on houses and roads.
During a long activity, and under the rain, troops of Colombian National Army, together with the National Police, the Mayor's Office of Vista Hermosa, the Fire Department, the Civil Defense and the inhabitants, were providing humanitarian assistance touring the houses of this village, to collect beds, mattresses, tables, chairs and other items damaged due to the rising of the river.
In the same way, they removed the debris, which was obstructing the road, to activate the vehicular transit and mobility.
In the same way, a cleaning activity is planned, with the aim of restoring and beautifying the roads again.
The mayor's office of this municipality is conducting a population census to determine the number of families that were hit by this natural disaster.
