Thanks to the installation of checkpoints in different parts of the department, the discovery of marijuana and the capture of a person were possible.
In territorial control operations in the municipality of Puerto Tejada, Cauca, troops of the Rapid Deployment Force No. 4, using intelligence information, managed to capture an individual carrying approximately 300 Kilograms of marijuana.
The event occurred on the road to the El Cairo village, in the municipality of Puerto Tejada, Cauca, the place where the truck was traveling, apparently only carrying a shipment of fruit. However, this vehicle had a double bottom adaptation suitable for transporting illicit substances. The person who was in the vehicle was caught in flagrante delicto and was put into custody of the judicial authorities.
These results are possible thanks to the intelligence information provided by the Apolo Operational Command and the strategic placement of checkpoints by the troops of the Rapid Deployment Battalion No. 12, which found packages wrapped in black adhesive tape, weighing approximately 300 kilograms full of creepy marijuana.
