This important activity aims to recover the natural lung of the city of Yopal, with the aim of protecting the environment.
The bicentenary heroes of the Support Command of Comprehensive Action and Development with its Battalion of Comprehensive Action and Development No.8, the Eighth Division, the Foundation Cambiando Estrellas, community leaders and the community, gathered at very early hours to start the important operation to work on the maintenance and beautification of the natural park La Iguana.
Paintings, cement, brooms, rollers and brushes were the elements used to change little by little the image of the main entrance of the place. Tiles of colors in its more than 10 steps and murals allusive to the environment can be seen in the park.
This activity seeks to find more people and thus be able to make a positive impact on this natural park, making it possible for the families of the eastern plains to enjoy a place of healthy recreation, health and wellbeing.
