Units of the Quiron Task Force keep the military security and defense operations in the department of Arauca, to protect the resources of the State and the population, thwarting criminal operations such as cattle theft and fuel smuggling.

This is how in the first military operation carried out in the municipality of Barranca Amarilla in the municipality of Arauca and thanks to the Network of Civic Participation 'REPARC', the troops recovered 41 head of cattle valued at 40 million pesos. The animals had been stolen from a farm in the sector. In record time after launching the respective operation pressure was put on the criminals.

In the same way, in the village El Aeropuerto de Cravo Norte, two horses Cuarto de Milla, whose cost would be about 32 million pesos ($ 32,000,000), were returned to the owner, who warned the Security forces about the theft.

The third blow to the finances of armed groups took place in the village Naranjitos in the municipality of Tame and is related to the discovery of 250 gallons of DIESEL and the finding of a truck, as well as the capture of two men who transported the fuel which came in containers conditioned in such a way to be imperceptible for the authorities.
