Troops of the National Army in coordination with the National Police in search and control patrols and thanks to information of the civic participation network, find and destroy two explosive devices gas cylinder type that were found fifteen meters from a house in the San Jorge neighborhood, of the municipality of Saravena, Arauca.
Once troops knew this information, immediately the Team of Explosives and Demolitions EXDE DELTA of the National Army, moved to the house in the municipality of Saravena and after conducting a thorough inspection with all of the security protocols, it was possible to find two improvised explosive devices, in gas cylinders of 40 kilos approximately with a system of induction and electrical activation method by control cable; it was in the same way observed that inside it contained pieces of chain, rods, pellets and ANFO-type explosive, which were intended to be used in terrorist operations against civilians and the Military Forces.
So it was possible to destroy these explosives, which, according to the first information, belonged to the Ernesto Che Guevara group of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, ELN.
With these important results, the National Army confirms its commitment to counter and neutralize any criminal operation that seeks to strike the security and tranquility of the inhabitants of the Colombian Orinoquia region.
