More than 2,500 soldiers of the National Army of the Eighteenth Brigade provide security for those who transit to move and arrive in the region at this time of vacation.
Arauca. There are more than 2,500 men of the different tactical units committed to the safety of the different roads of the department of Arauca in the eight checkpoints strategically located, where military search and control operations are carried out in order to optimize road safety of the travelers.
The Arauca’s people and visitors will be able to move peacefully along the roads of the region, in the framework of the campaign "Travel Safely, your army is on the road", during the long weekend, in the municipality of Cubará, in the department of Boyacá, the department of Arauca and the municipality of Samoré, in the department of Norte de Santander.
Thanks to the constant work done by the men of the National Army, the Plains population can enjoy a weekend without any setback not only on the main roads but in the same way on the tertiary roads of the region.
