The National Navy and the National Police supported the control and mitigation of a fire in the hamlet El Salado, in the municipality of El C谩rmen de Bol铆var.
In the early hours of Tuesday, units of the Military Checkpoint of the Marine Infantry Battalion No.13 of the National Navy, noticed the flames consuming a palm kiosk next to a house, in the neighborhood 'Villa Beatriz' and immediately went to help the community in the emergency, with the support of the Humanitarian Demining Company and the Police.
After five hours of work, four of these kiosks were consumed, the Volunteer Fire Department of El C谩rmen de Bol铆var managed to put out the flames that, apparently, were caused by a short circuit inside one of them.
