Units of the Colombian Navy and the National Army, in   river operations on the Arauca river, found a hideout with war material belonging to the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-R, Structure 10, Martín Villa, in the area of Isla Reinera, of the municipality of Arauquita in the department of Arauca.

Men of the Naval Force of the East, through the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.52 with Units of the Ground Operations Battalion No.29 of the National Army, in the framework of the fight that is being held in the East of the country against the GAO-R, they went to the site of the discovery, where they found 170 kilograms of Anfo-type explosives, with a 6-gram detonating cord, packed into two improvised cylinder-type explosive devices.

The material was destroyed under controlled conditions at the site of the discovery, thus preventing possible damage to civilians or to the nation's strategic assets in the department of Arauca.
