In the middle of a demanding operation and through interinstitutional work conducted by the San Andr茅s and Providencia Specific Command represented by its Marine Infantry Coast Guard Personnel of San Andr茅s Island, Soldiers of the National Army and the Colombian Air Force in conjunction with its office of Infrastructure of the Archipelago presented the last five parks of the 14 that were projected during the last two months.

Bringing smiles and healthy fun to children and young people of the islanders and Raizal community, is part of the program of the Navy of Colombia in the Archipelago region since 2015, which seeks to create recreational spaces, ideal to contribute to the psychomotor development, and strengthening of emotional and social bonds of the children of the island.

The parks were presented in the districts Cesar Gaviria, Rock Hole, Santana, Los Amigos and Natania 2nd phase, which counted on the presence of the authorities in the head of the Rear Admiral Juan Francisco Herrera Leal with his cabinet of secretaries and the captain of Vessel Gustavo Adolfo Valbuena, commander of the Specific Command of San Andr茅s y Providencia, together with the commanders of its components.

The Navy radio station Marina Stereo and the young navy men and Soldiers made this dream possible and participated through their talent in construction and painting, contributing to the improvement of the well-being and quality of life of the inhabitants of the Insular region. Within these activities, the presence of the group of dances of the Departmental Government was well received, who through a typical regional dance presentation, vitalized the process of cultural appropriation conducted by the island community and Raizal community.
