As part of the efforts to prevent and contain the Covid-19, the Naval Base ARC Bahía Málaga supported maritime transport and distributed 12 tons of humanitarian aid and 7 tons of construction materials to the inhabitants of the communities of Chucheros, Mangaña, Miramar, La Plata and La Sierpe in the department of Valle del Cauca.
During the preventive isolation, the Colombian Navy put all its capabilities and human talent at the service of Colombians, providing the security and logistical support necessary to transport humanitarian aid; it is a support that helps these hard-to-reach inhabitants in a timely manner.
