A helicopter landing operation near the coast, in the town of Mulatos, municipality of Necoclí, in the department of Antioquia, led the Units of the Infantry Battalion No.16, of the Joint Task Force Titan, in coordination with the Technical Corps of Investigation - CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), of the Office of the Prosecutor, to find two houses used as hideouts and an illegal depot.

During the operation, it was possible to find 76 bags containing 1,826 packages of cocaine hydrochloride, 14 bags containing 443 bags of marijuana, as well as 740 million Colombian pesos, a 38-millimeter revolver, a shotgun caliber 16 millimeters, 01 rifle caliber 9 millimeters, 279 cartridges of different calibers, several communication equipment; two individuals were captured.

The individuals, as well as the materials were taken to the municipality of Turbo, Antioquia, where the judicial authorities carried out the Preliminary Identification Test - Piph whose result was positive for 1,826 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 225, 7 kilograms of marijuana.

With this important finding the finances of the groups in the service of drug trafficking won’t receive around 74 million dollars, an estimated value of this shipment of narcotics, in the international illicit market.
