After navigating three days and traveling 231 nautical miles from the Port of Buenaventura, in the department of Valle del Cauca, the amphibious landing ship ARC 'Bah铆a Colombia', arrived at the municipality of Jurad贸, in the department of Choc贸, with 15 tons of humanitarian aid to be given to the indigenous families who traveled to the community of Dos Bocas, because of potential battles of the armed groups for the control of drug trafficking routes.

The humanitarian aid was brought by the ship ARC 'Bah铆a Colombia' and later put into boats of the Battalion of Marine Infantry No. 23, and also of the community. Later it was transferred until the municipality of Jurad贸, to finally be distributed with the accompaniment of the troops of the Navy of Colombia in the sector Dos Bocas. It is worth noting the coordinated work carried out by the military personnel and the community for the organization of these donations.

Officials of the municipal mayor's office and indigenous authorities handed over the humanitarian aid to the families. This aid would amount to 171 million pesos, which were arranged by the National Victims Unit. The Colombian Navy will provide the security conditions to guarantee the distribution of these elements.

Among the elements prepared to be distributed to the inhabitants of the different indigenous communities hit by the clashes there are non-perishable food, toiletries, medicines, diapers, mattresses, blankets, kitchen elements, water purifiers, medicine kits, first aid elements, education elements for minors, toys, among others.
