In the framework of the permanent operation against the criminal organizations of the Colombian Caribbean, the Navy of Colombia found in the department of Sucre, an illegal hideout with explosive material and ammunition.
Thanks to intelligence work and the support of the Civic Participation Network, the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) – Sucre, managed to find the hideout in the municipality of El Llano, on the road that leads to San Marcos, in the department of Sucre, where they found a black bag containing a fragmentation grenade, 79 cartridges caliber 5.56 millimeters, an explosive charge of pentolite, an electric igniter and detonating cord.
The material was put into custody of the Judicial Police of San Marcos, in the department of Sucre, who continue to conduct the investigations process.
