Units of the Colombian Navy, belonging to the Southern Naval Force, during surveillance, interdiction and river safety operations, find 184 kilos of solid precursors, 1972 gallons of liquid precursors and 94 kilos of coca paste.

The operations were carried out in different places in the departments of Putumayo and Caquetá, where the Colombian Navy, jointly with the National Army and the Colombian Air Force, and coordinated with the National Police, found and destroyed under controlled conditions 07 illegal structures of drug production and an illegal collection center for precursors used in the manufacture of narcotic drugs.

With the destruction of these illegal structures and the discovery of precursors for drug production, the finances of criminal organizations that commit crimes in the south east of the country are directly hit and the environmental damage that occurs due to the indiscriminate use of toxic chemicals is reduced in these places.

The elements were put into custody of the authority. During the operations, no arrests were made.
