The megalaboratory, made up of four structures, had more than two and a half tons of cocaine hydrochloride, ready to be sent by illegal drug trafficking routes and were valued at more than three million dollars.
The continuous military operations take place throughout the national territory, this time in the village Corinto, municipality of Sardinata, Norte de Santander, where thanks to the work of the National Army, the Air Force and the office of the Prosecutor General of the Nation, was neutralized the threat of this complex that would be at the service of Organised Armed Group, GAO, Eln.
Military intelligence led to the precise place to find, more than 2,500 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, 700 kilograms of coca base paste and a firearm.
Solid and liquid precursors used for the production of this drug were in the same way found at the site.
With these operations, the Second Division of the National Army, along with the Command Against drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats hit directly the finances of the GAO Eln by more than 14 billion colombian pesos, money used by that group to finance the logistics for the attacks against the inhabitants of the region and the Military Forces.
In one week, in the department of Norte de Santander, the National Army has neutralized the threat of about six tons of this narcotic, demonstrating the strength of the troops and the will to continue fighting against drug trafficking.
