The military operation against the finance group of the Ismael Ruiz structure took place in the rural area of Neiva, Huila.
Within the framework of military operations and in support of a search warrant, troops of the Huila Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), of the Ninth Brigade, fought members of the Ismael Ruiz Structure, of the Isa铆as Pardo Central Bloc, under the criminal direction of alias May, in the village La Libertad, Neiva.
There was the death an individual, in the framework of military operations, as well as the arrest of four individuals, one of them is alias Jeiner Acosta, who would be alias May's right-hand. He would hold the position of ringleader of the armed wing of the Ismael Ruiz Front in Neiva, in the same way a minor was recovered; who apparently would have been illegally recruited by this residual organized armed group. In the place, it was possible to find six rifles, a grenade launcher, a telescopic sight, eight grenades, six radios, military accessory material, four multipurpose vests, plenty of ammunition, four banners alluding to the Ismael Ruiz Structure and two FARC flags.
This operation received support for the prosecution of the GRATE Anti-Terrorism Special Operations Group, intelligence information from Sipol, the Metropolitan Police of Neiva, in coordination with the BAIME3 Strategic Military Intelligence Battalion, the air support of the Aviation Mobility and Maneuver Battalion N.掳5 and the Air Combat Command N.掳4 of the Colombian Aerospace Force.
It should be mentioned that this operation is carried out in response to early warning No. 001-25, issued by the Ombudsman's Office to warn of the risk the inhabitants.
This finance group of the Ismael Ruiz Structure was harming with its terrorist operation the people of the municipalities of Aipe, Neiva, Palermo and Santa Mar铆a, in the department of Huila, as well as in the municipalities of Planadas, Ataco and Natagaima, Tolima.
In the same way, we regret to report that, in the framework of the operation to protect the good physical condition and provide security to the inhabitants, was murdered Soldier Jos茅 Alexander Rojas Ultengo, who lost his life in fulfillment of the constitutional mission, after serving for more than 14 years.
We send our prayer for his eternal rest and a message of condolences and support to his family and partners in this heartfelt loss; his sacrifice will not be in vain.
