Guaviare. The timely reaction of the troops of the Joint Task Force Omega with its Navy and National Army units, led to the discovery and neutralization of two explosive devices on the banks of the Guayabero River, in the municipality of San Jos茅 del Guaviare.
These are two 100-pound gas cylinders, loaded with approximately 30 pounds of explosives and 170 pounds of shrapnel, which were found in an area military control operation in this sector.
Immediately, the soldiers, in coordination with the Explosives and Demolitions Team, EXDE, after securing the area and implementing the security protocols, proceeded to carry out the controlled destruction of the explosive devices.
