The ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant Colonel of the Navy infantry Jaime Humberto Fontecha Rivera, Chief of Staff in charge of the Marine Infantry Training Base, who congratulated the graduates for the academic merits obtained during the course.

The program took place across 77 hours and had the purpose of training the personnel of the Military Forces and civilian journalists, in techniques, procedures and necessary skills to function as correspondents in hostile environments, within a peacekeeping operation.

During the course, the participation of Sergeant of the Marine Infantry Mauricio Ramírez Ramírez was highlighted after graduating with honours, thanks to his excellent qualifications and high behavior during the course.
