captura_de_pantalla_2019-06-16_a_las_10.52.11_a._m.png

As part of the execution of the Operation Agamemnon, troops of Artillery Battalion No. 2 Teniente General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla of the Fifth Brigade, Second Division, in coordination with the SIJIN (JUDICIAL POLICE) of Magdalena Medio, capture three ringleaders and six presumed members of the substructure Luis Alfonso Echavarría belonging to the structure Erlín Pino Duarte, of the GAO Clan del Golfo.

The captures took place in Bucaramanga, Barrancabermeja and Puerto Wilches in the department of Santander and San Pablo and Cantagallo in the south of the department of Bolívar, where after several months of inter-institutional work, the Army and the Police find these individuals, who committed crimes in the middle Magdalena

Among those captured there are three ringleaders for the municipalities of Puerto Wilches, Cantagallo and San Pablo, who apparently would be in charge of conducting the targeting for the execution of targeted homicides, extortion charges and kidnappings of entrepreneurs and merchants in the region. They also controlled the routes to transport alkaloids to different departments and municipalities, and trafficking and commercialization of narcotics in the different districts of Barrancabermeja, in Santander and municipalities of southern Bolivar.

The others captured are alias Pili, alias Rober, alias Verruga, alias Palenque, alias René and alias Machete. The individuals must face charges for the crime of aggravated conspiracy and were put into custody of the judicial authority who legalized the captures and put them into prison.
