Twenty-seven raids were necessary for the dismantling of these Organized Criminal Groups (GDO) called Los Administradores and Los Recogidos, structures that commit crimes such as homicide and the sale of narcotic substances in small quantities.
In a coordinated and inter-institutional operation carried out by the National Army, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, 24 people were arrested, who allegedly committed crimes such as the crime of homicide and drug trafficking in the municipalities of Palmira, El Cerrito, La Uni贸n and Roldanillo in Valle del Cauca.
During the operation, a firearm, cash, ten cell phones, two motorcycles, narcotics, among other items were seized.
Thanks to the investigative operation of the National Police in the department of Valle, it was possible to clarify ten criminal acts that had been perpetrated by the members of the GDO Los Administradores in the municipalities of Roldanillo and La Uni贸n.
Those arrested along with the material were put into custody of the authorities. These people were prosecuted for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes, homicide, manufacturing trafficking and carrying firearms or ammunition, use of minors for crimes and trafficking, manufacture or carrying narcotics.
With this important result, the concept of Unified operation is materialized, organized criminal groups are in the same way hit, weakening the drug trafficking chain, illicit activities and sources of financing of these criminal actors.
