As part of Operation Catatumbo, troops of Colombian National Army launched a new heavy blow against the residual organized armed group Structura 33, in the village of Bertrania, municipality of Tibú, Department of Norte de Santander.

During the fight, the threat of an alleged member of this structure was neutralized. In addition, it was possible to recover two minors, who were handed over to the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute for the restoration of their rights.

In another military operation, the troops fought against members of Structure 33 and the GAO ELN in the Campo Yuca sector, in the same way in Tibú, where these groups put the inhabitants at risk.

The soldiers extract and provide humanitarian care to two people injured as a result of the clashes. Once the situation was put under control, two long rifles and three vehicles were recovered.
