With intelligence and investigative activities, Colombian National Army, the National Police with the support of the Colombian Aerospace Force realized 7 search warrants in the villages of Timba and Robles.
Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Third Brigade of Colombian National Army and the Metropolitan Police of Cali, with the support of the Colombian Aerospace Force, carried out a total intervention plan in the villages of Robles and Timba, of the municipality of Jamundí, southern Valle del Cauca.
This operation seeks to influence the reduction of the different crimes that generate anxiety in the Jamundeños, ensure their protection and neutralize the threats in this area of the country.
So far, it was possible to arrest two people in flagrante delicto, three motorcycles, a revolver, six cartridges, four sticks of an explosive with characteristics similar to pentolite, two hand grenades, 45 million pesos in cash and propaganda material alluding to organized armed groups that commit crimes in this part of the country.
The soldiers of the Third Brigade ratify their commitment to security and will continue to coordinate efforts in a coordinated and inter-institutional way to get the tranquility and comprehensive security of the communities.
