As part of an ongoing effort by the authorities to counteract the crime of robbery of animals, which has been reported in the department of La Guajira, it was possible to identify 14 farm animals which could cost 17 million pesos, which were confiscated by the National Police in the municipality of Barrancas, in La Guajira.
These animals were identified through a surveillance, monitoring and follow-up platform of the Colombian Air Force, which has been set up by the Air Combat Command No.3, reporting in real-time the situation to the surface units, who effectively carried out the apprehensions, damaging the finances of the North front of the organized armed group ELN.
