The operation, carried out simultaneously in the cities of Bogotá, Fusagasugá and La Dorada, succeeded in capturing 13 members of the criminal organization, who were put into custody of to the judicial authorities. It is important to mention the capture of the top leader of the organization aka ‘Yesid’.
During the search maneuvers, 1,200 grams of marijuana and 100 grams of “basuco” (crack) were seized, preventing with this the sale and distribution of approximately 3,600 doses in the Magdalena Medio region.
The operation ‘Renacer Caldas’ was executed in an coordinated way thanks to the excellent intelligence work carried out, planned, executed and consolidated in all the operations necessary to capture these criminals.
