In support of the well-known Colombian cyclist, Juan Jos茅 Flori谩n, a group of technical specialists of the Air Maintenance Command, CAMAN, of the Colombian Air Force made modifications to the athlete's bicycle, who is finalizing details for the next competitions in the Road World Championship, in Portugal, with the aim of ratifying his brand and being increasingly closer to the Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2021.

Mochoman, as he calls himself, served the National Army as a soldier, who on 12 July 2011, by the action of an improvised explosive device, lost his two arms, his right leg and the sight of his right eye. Despite the adversities, he has always be in various sports competitions; now his only dream is to hoist the name of Colombia high from his bicycle.

In the facilities of the military unit, cradle of aeronautical logistics, they have been working on the design and manufacture of carbon fiber and glass parts for the stumps of Juan Jos茅's elbows and knees, leading him to have lighter, comfortable and specially adapted parts for his use so that his body stays in the most appropriate positions to prevent physical injuries during competitions.

Today in Portugal, Mochoman, sends a greeting of gratitude for the unconditional support of the Colombian Air Force, exalting the commitment of the Air Maintenance Command for the work in the adaptation of the bicycle that he will use in this important sports competition.

In this way, the Colombian Air Force, through the Air Maintenance Command, supports this compatriot, who makes an effort to continue standing out in this new opportunity for life.
