Findings of marijuana and coca base paste thanks to the operation on the roads of the Opita land.

Plan Ipsilon is the union of forces by the department of Huila which led the troops of the Ninth Brigade and units of the Police Department, to hit the plans of criminal groups who perpetrate the crime of drug trafficking; these are two operations that left the finding of 40 kilos of drugs and the arrest of two people.

In the municipality El Cedro, in Pitalito, units of the Infantry Battalion No 27 – Magdalena, and units of the Traffic and Transport Section of the Huila Police, at a checkpoint, carried out a thorough inspection on a cargo vehicle, which was traveling from Mocoa, Putumayo, to Laboyana.

During the inspection, each of the parts of the car was verified, finding that in the fuel tank had been conditioned 33 plastic bottles that had 28 kilos of coca base paste, at a cost of approximately 67 million pesos.

Two persons, a 58-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, were arrested for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics.

In the municipality of Matanzas, in Paicol, this time, troops of the Special Energy and Road Battalion No.12 and Huila Police units, made the stop sign to two people traveling by motorcycle, who accelerated the vehicle escaping.

After the pursuit by the Military Forces, the two men abandoned the motorcycle and two bags that, after being verified, led to establish that 12 kilos of marijuana cripy, at a cost in six million pesos, were being transported.

These are two results that countered the sale in doses of hallucinogenic substances, contributing to protect the public health of the inhabitants of the territory of Huila.
