The Office General Staff of Operations of Colombian National Army informs : In the framework of Military Counterintelligence operations and as a sign of legitimacy and institutional transparency, an active military (officer) was arrested by the Military and Police Criminal Justice, in the city of Pasto, Nari帽o, for the alleged crime of embezzlement.
Colombian National Army, working in the frame of the principles of justice and transparency, expresses its total willingness to support the judicial authorities in the criminal investigations. In the same way, disciplinary and administrative investigations will be initiated in the related military units through this case.
The institution reiterates its absolute rejection of any act of corruption and behaviors that violate the law or the ethical principles that govern the institution.
