Regarding the events reported at the facilities of Military Police Battalion No.15, north of Bogot谩, the Command of the Thirteenth Brigade, a unit of the Fifth Division reports:
1. The situation arose when a disciplinary patrol exercised its function of verifying compliance with the rules of conduct within the premises of the military unit.
2. After an admonition, a confrontation began, initially conducted by two soldiers, which ended in aggression.
3. Two of the soldiers involved were put into custody of the authority and administrative and disciplinary proceedings were initiated for their disengagement of the military Forces.
4. Some military personnel were beaten, none of them are in serious conditions. Those beaten were treated in a timely manner and in the medical dispensary of the institution.
5. This command sends a message of tranquility to the families of our soldiers, reiterating that this type of behavior does not represent the values and principles of the institution, so, proceedings will continue to be taken immediately.
