1. National Army troops deployed in the south of Córdoba, in response to the recommendations of early warnings No. 023 and 071 of 2018, and in the course of military operations against the organized armed group Clan del Golfo, were carrying out tasks to verify information on possible threats to the people and social leaders in the region.

2. As a result of this situation, yesterday, in the municipality of Puerto Colombia, in San José de Uré, in the department of Córdoba, in a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law the GAO  Clan del Golfo, the soldier Óscar Hernando Uribe Parra, 35, born in Cunday, Tolima, and soldier Manuel Bracamonte Pabuena, 33, born in San Marcos, Sucre, were assassinated.
