Within the framework of a significant environmental activity carried out in the municipality of Puerto Nari帽o, department of Amazonas, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Amazonas Air Group, joined the BeCl谩 initiative, in the planting of 1,200 native seedlings.
This activity counted on the support and participation of the National Army, the Colombian Navy and the National Police, demonstrating once again the union of Forces for the benefit of environmental conservation and the well-being of the Amazonian communities.
Planting seedlings in this region not only strengthens the recovery of strategic ecosystems and the protection of biodiversity, but also contributes to the mitigation of climate change and the preservation of the lung of the world, on which millions of people depend.
At the extreme south of the country, the Colombian Aerospace Force promotes environmental activities that encourage the participation of communities, with the purpose of generating awareness about the importance of planting seedlings. These activities promote the sense of belonging and citizen commitment to the conservation of the Amazon, working in a coordinated way with institutional and social allies to raise its sustainability and ensure a future in harmony with the environment.
