In the municipality of Cumaribo, in the department of Vichada, a coordinated Development Support Activity was carried out by the different regional authorities, which had the participation of the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Mayor's Office of Cumaribo, the Manos Pintadas de Azul Foundation and the Minuto de Dios Organization Corporation, which took place at the Sagrado Coraz贸n de Jesus School.
The activity was in the same way supported by 35 volunteers of the Manos Pintadas de Azul Foundation, who traveled from Bogot谩 on a Colombian Air Force flight to conduct more than 1,000 medical treatments in the specialties of speech therapy, nutrition, dentistry, optometry, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, gynecology, internal medicine and general medicine and provided the formulated medications at no cost. In addition, health personnel of the San Juan de Dios Hospital provided the basic vaccination for children and women.
In addition to medical assistance, wellness activities were carried out to provide people a moment of recreation and integration, which they complemented with the hairdressing and children's recreation services, providing children with recreational games and giving them school kits.
It is estimated that about 2000 people were benefited by this Activity, thanks to the collaboration and joint effort of the participating institutions, which contribute significantly to the comprehensive development of the community.
