In Santander was neutralized one of the most wanted in Colombia

In military operation coordinated with the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Attorney General's Office, the capture of alias “Cucuteño,” one of the most wanted in Colombia, was captured.

 

After intelligence work that lasted a year the military could establish that this individual was in the city of Bucaramanga, in the department of Santander, where in the in recent hours he was captured.

 

Alias ​​Cucuteño, 33, is accused of the murder of a social leader in the Candelaria La Nueva sector, in the locality Ciudad Bolívar, in Bogotá, on February 3, 2018. This person had an arrest warrant for the crime of homicide aggravated with manufacture, traffic and carrying of firearms and / or ammunition.

 

The man, according to the investigations, was in charge of carrying out homicides and intimidation activities for extortion purposes.

 

The National Army guarantees the respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, it will continue to carry out operations that lead to the discovery and capture of individuals who attempt against the good physical condition of social leaders and the community.
