Elderly residents of the municipality of Fontibón in Bogotá, enjoyed the “Así se va a las estrellas” program at the Military Transport Air Command – CATAM, an activity led by the Comprehensive operation Section of the Transport Group of the Military Air Unit.
The activity of these 21 adults began with a tour by the facilities of the Aeronautical Education Group, where they learned how military pilots who fulfill the mission of the Colombian Aerospace Force train daily, through flight simulators, an experience to never forget.
Accompanied by the members of the CATAM Security Group, they got to know the resources and skills of the Air Base Security and Defense specialty, through a stand specially prepared for them.

Finally, they met the crews of the Institution's light and medium transport aircraft such as the King-350 and C-295, which reach every corner of the national territory.
In this way, the Military Air Transport Command ratifies its commitment to civilians and the well-being of its neighboring communities.
