Seven kilos of marijuana were found by troops by the National Army in Cajamarca

cogfm-ejercito-nacional-incauta-marihuana-en-cajamarca-10.jpeg

A woman was carrying the drug, hidden in her travel suitcase, the drug was destined for the capital city of the Republic.

Through activities of permanent checkpoints, on the Cajamarca Bridge, by the soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No.18 colonel Jaime Rooke of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, in conjunction with the Air Force and in coordination with the National Police, it was possible to find 7 thousand doses of creepy-type marijuana in a luggage suitcase and to arrest its owner.

In an intermunicipal bus that covered the Popayan - Bogotá route, the soldiers search and check the luggage with the anti-narcotics trained dog and the narcotics were found. When checking, they find 14 packages containing a vegetable substance, which tests positive for creepy-type marijuana.

The 7 kilos of marijuana were destined for Bogotá, with a commercial cost of ten million five hundred thousand pesos (10,500,000 COP).

The woman was put into custody of the authority for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics.

This operational result, jointly and coordinated within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, contributes to impacting the problem of drug trafficking in Tolima territory by the soldiers of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army.
