Cartagena is the national Tourist District, so it is one of the busiest capital cities in the time of December and January.
Aircraft of the Air Combat Command No.3 continue to conduct operations in the department of Bol铆var, to support the work carried out by the men on land, mainly on the beaches of Cartagena where thousands of tourists have come to enjoy the last weekend of year-end festivities, reactivating in a positive way the main economic activity of the department.
Troops in the same way are carrying out security missions in southern Bol铆var jointly with the Marte Task Force, with the aim of continuing to damage the structures of the organized armed groups that strike security in this area of the country.
Until January 10 troops will continue to strengthen the surveillance work on the most visited roads, beaches and public spaces in the season, ensuring the safety of visitors on the coast, from the Colombian airspace.
