In the first operation carried out by units of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) – Huila, in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, it was possible to make effective the judicial warrants issued since February 7, 2019 to capture Segundo Rodrigo Zuñiga Medina.
The operation to capture the individual took place after finding the man and verify his identity, it was possible to establish he was required by the authorities for the crime of violation in contest with simple kidnapping. This person, in the same way, had notes in his record for extortion and personal injuries. He was put into custody of the requesting authority.
The operations continued in the south of Huila, capturing Edgar Chilito Cuspián, who since February 12, 2018 was wanted by justice for the crime of abusive sexual intercourse with minor of age - 14 years old.
In the village La Plata in the municipality of Algeciras, the work of the troops of the High Mountain Battalion No. 9, in coordination with the National Police, led to the capture of Regulo Rocha Perdomo. The individual, 44, was being required since 2017, to serve a sentence of 11 years and 2 months for the crime of homicide.
The captures are achieved thanks to the coordinated and inter-agency work conducted by troops of the Ninth Brigade and the other State security agencies. All organizing their powers for the strengthening of the Department as a safe and enjoyable territory for progress.
