A woman with 26 weeks of pregnancy with health complications, was received at the Air Combat Command No.6, where a humanitarian aeromedical transfer mission was carried out by the Colombian Aerospace Force, to save her life and that of the baby.
The 25-year-old mother was received by the medical staff of the unit and the crew, in order to continue the journey by air to the city of Florencia, Caquet谩. On board a HUEY II helicopter, configured for aeromedical missions, the highly trained crew monitored the condition of the mother and her baby during the flight to the city of Florencia.
Finally, the patient was given stable to the staff of the Fabio Jaramillo Londo帽o Hospital, where she received the specialized treatment she required.
This humanitarian mission reflects the permanent commitment of the Colombian Aerospace Force to safeguard the lives of the inhabitants in critical situations and where necessary, guarding them from the air.
