Timely reaction of the Military Forces reports the release of kidnapped young man

In the department of Meta, it was possible to intercept a vehicle carrying a young man who had been kidnapped in the municipality of Maní, Casanare; thanks to the rapid reaction of the Military Forces in a joint, coordinated and interagency work conducted by the Colombian Air Force, National Army, GAULA (ANTI-EXTORTION AND ANTI-KIDNAPPING GROUP) National Police and the Casanare Governorate.

 

Given the immediate alert, Air Force aircraft conducted reconnaissance of the area in real time, where the vehicles traveled with the kidnapped young man, which led to the timely interception on the ground by the Army and Police of the Meta department, which made possible the rescue of this 26-year-old.

 

These coordinated missions conducted by the Military Forces and other authorities of the department, ratifies the decisive work that is carried out daily against extortion and kidnapping in eastern Colombia, hitting the operations of groups outlaw in this region of the country.
