In the same way more than 120 people with medical priorities, were also transported; the operation base was the Marco Fidel Suarez Military School.

Two aircrafts completed the different routes, the first with a Hercules C130 aircraft, between Cali - Popayán carrying 10 tons of cargo and 12 people; in the second route Popayán – Cali, 80 people were moved, among them, several minors with disabilities.

Once the weather improved, a C-295 plane could fly from Cali to Pasto, carrying passengers and five tons of cargo with dialysis medication. On its way back, he took 24 people to the capital city of the department of Valle.

By Friday, April 5, the C-295 will carry out again the air transport of seven tons of non-perishable food, six tons of medicines and some passengers according to complexity medical treatments.

In this way, the Colombian Air Force, as part of the National Disaster Risk Management System, in a coordinated manner with State agencies, works with all its equipment and personnel to help improve the conditions of Colombians who suffer from consequences of blockades in the Pan-American Highway in the southwest of the country.
