Huila. The permanent and persistent operation, with the aim of eradicating any vestige of war and preventing this from arriving in the hands of the violent ones, led the troops of Artillery Battalion No. 9 Tenerife of the Ninth Brigade, to find an illegal hideout with war material and explosives.
They are 11 explosive devices (antipersonnel mines) used in the past by the illegal armed structures that made criminal presence in this area in the department of Huila, whose objective was to cause damage to the Security forces, preventing their advance towards the camp areas.
In the place, there were in the same way, 193 cartridges of caliber 5.56 and 7.62 millimeters, elements that were put into custody of the Sijin (Judicial Police) of the municipality of Baraya for the judicial process.
