Valle Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Troops, together with the Attorney General's Office, arrested a man when he would be receiving 10 million pesos from a merchant in the municipality of Tuluá, Valle del Cauca, apparently product of an extortion.
Thanks to the intelligence efforts and the timely denunciation of the merchant, it was possible to carry out the arrest of the man who would be a member of the La Inmaculada organized gang. Its criminal activity would be concentrated in the center of the Valle, and the troops was pressing the victim to pay this important sum of money in exchange for respecting his personal good health condition and not attacking his commercial establishment.
During the operation, the money was seized. This individual and the material were put into custody of the authorities.
