Two alleged members of the GAO Clan del Golfo were arrested

 Capturados dos presuntos integrantes del GAO Clan del Golfo

During an operation against criminal organizations that commit crimes in the Pacific, the Colombian Navy arrested two alleged members of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo with war material, in a rural area of the Special District of Buenaventura.

 

At a military checkpoint in the El Crucero sector, Bajo Calima region, crewmembers of Navy Infantry Battalion No.21 arrested two individuals who were traveling on a motorcycle. During the review, it was established that the men were illegally carrying two 9 mm caliber pistols, two magazines and 34 9 mm caliber cartridges.

 

According to the investigations, they would be alias El Primo and alias Timón, alleged members of the Valle substructure of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, which commits crimes in this region.

 

Those arrested and the material found were put into custody of the authorities for prosecution.

 

The Colombian Navy will continue to carry out operations that lead to the dismantling of criminal structures ensuring the safety of the inhabitants in the Colombian Pacific.
