The events took place in the village of Vijagual, municipality of San Pablo, municipality of Teorama, after soldiers of the Ground Operations Battalion No.8, who are in military operations, heard voices for help a few meters from a checkpoint of military control.

The report there is the finding of two men chained near the ankles on a way that connects the village with the nearby villages.

Once the security protocols framed in the international treaties of International Humanitarian Law, were implemented, the soldiers proceeded to provide protection and security, freeing them of the chains they were tied with.

According to information provided by the rescued, they in an oversight of their captors managed to escape in order to be aided.

The two men said that their kidnappings took place in the municipality of San Pablo, in Teorama, about 28 days ago.
