Wanda León Suárez is already in the city of Ibagué thanks to the Colombian Air Force

The King 350 medical aircraft of the Colombian Air Force arrived at the Perales airport, in Ibagué, with Wanda León Suárez , the 16-year-old motorcyclist crashed in Mexico.

After almost nine hours of flight, she arrived at the Perales Airport of Ibagué on board the King 350 medical aircraft of the Colombian Air Force; she is the 16-year-old Colombian motorcyclist crashed in Mexico.

 

The humanitarian mission was successfully accomplished under all security protocols. It was coordinated by the National Center for Recovery of Personnel, CNRP, of the Colombian Air Force, with the support of Migration Colombia, the Foreign affairs Ministry, the Civil Aviation and the administration and security personnel of the Perales airport.

 

During the flight, the girl accompanied by her mother, was permanently monitored and assisted by the military medical team, who constantly verified her vital signs, making sure she did not suffer any type of alteration, keeping her stable during the journey.

 

In this operation, the capabilities and professionalism of the crew were decisive. They planned and executed the flight carefully, considering each of the technical aspects, such as meteorology, altitude, speed and others, so that the patient remained in optimal conditions, so she can reach its final destination safely and in stable conditions.

 

The community of the department of Tolima, accompanied the Air Force on this mission and received Wanda León Suárez at the Ibagué airport, as a show of support and solidarity with the athlete's family, expressing feelings of union and strength for her succefusl and rapid recovery.
