After doing the ICFES Saber Pro tests in Villavicencio, young people return to their homes in El Calvario in a UH60 Blackhawk helicopter of the Air Combat Command No. 2 of the Colombian Aerospace Force, because the municipality is still isolated by land and if it were not by air, they would have to walk about 10 hours on dangerous trails.
Demonstrating their courage and desire to progress, despite the difficulties that the Calvario has been experiencing for weeks, a group of 11 students of the Juan Vicente Arnau School in that municipality, returned by air to their homes in a Black Hawk Angel helicopter, arranged since the very moment of the request made by the Mayor's Office of the municipality, but due to weather conditions and after several attempts to make the return flight of the Apiay Air Base, it was finally possible to transport these young people.
In the same way, a group of patients who required specialized medical assistance, including Maria Triviño, mother of a 6-month-old baby, arrived in Villavicencio on the return flight. "Thanks God first of all, and thanks to the Air Force that collaborated with us to go out and help the baby, in my case, being able to get pediatrics," Maria assured.
560 kilos of non-perishable aid were in the same way transported to El Calvario, in order to support the emergency that the community is experiencing.
