In the framework of operations framed in the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Meta Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in coordination with the Technical Investigation Corps of the Attorney General's Office arrested by judicial order alias Yosty member of the organized gang Renacer Erpac.
Alias Yosty would be in charge of carrying out and coordinating the extortions against the merchants, ranchers and different productive groups of the city of Villavicencio.
The arrested man was wanted by the Colombian justice system for the crimes of aggravated extortion in competition with association to commit crimes.
It should be noted that this arrest comes after an operation carried out days earlier by the Meta Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), who had arrested by court order another member of the same criminal structure, in the same way specialized in extorting merchants in Villavicencio and Puerto Lleras.
These results demonstrate the decisiveness of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) troops and weaken the illicit activities of the criminal groups that commit crimes in this area of the country.
