In compliance with the Ayacucho Plan, and the Amazonas Plan, the National Army, thanks to the constant military operation, seized more than 600 kilos of marijuana, which would be transported to the neighboring country of Brazil.
In the last few hours, in a military operation by the units of the Sixth Division of the National Army, conducted in the Amazonas, it was possible to find more than 600 kilos of creepy type marijuana, which were distributed in 12 sacks in the village Cordoba, in the area of La Pedrera, in the municipality of Amazonas, these sacs belonged to the Residual Organized Armed Group Carolina Ramirez Structure.
The finding of the narcotic was made by the soldiers of the Twenty-Sixth Jungle Brigade, who through military intelligence reported to deal this important blow to the finances of this criminal structure.
According to Intelligence, this marijuana was going to be marketed by members of this criminal organization to Brazil. In recent weeks, they have participated in activities for attacking civilians under the orders of the main ringleader Yeison Alexis Ojeda, alias Danilo Alvitzù.
The material was put into custody of the authorities for destruction in controlled conditions.
