In an operation by the Military Forces, with the support of the Prosecutor's Office, it was possible to intercept a Go Fast type ship with more than 189 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride northeast of Riohacha department of La Guajira.
During the operation, carried out jointly by the Colombian Navy and the Colombian Air Force, 189 rectangular packages were found by troops, apparently with illicit substances, as well as a rifle with two magazines and 60 cartridges, which were transported on board a ship through the waters of the Caribbean Sea.
The boat was crewed by two people from, allegedly, the Dominican Republic, who were arrested and placed at the put into custody of of the authorities S.
